Research Interests

  • Our research focuses on the intersection of photonic metamaterials, metasurfaces, nanophotonics, plasmonics, and nanoscale heat transfer. We aim to control light and radiative thermal management at subwavelength scales. We design and study artificial nanostructures that manipulate electromagnetic waves innovatively, allowing for advanced optical functionalities such as wavefront shaping, enhanced light-matter interactions, and thermal emission control. By leveraging the unique properties of nanophotonic architectures, our work connects fundamental physics with practical applications in flat optical devices, sensing, and thermal management.

Research Area

• Photonic metamaterials and metasurfaces • Nanophotonics • Plasmonics • Nanoscale heat transfer
